Our Packages Include (depending on the final plan and materials list customized by you):

* Forest Fire Killed, lathed, coped, saddle notched, hand peeled Engleman Spruce and Lodgepole Pine Logs (the best, driest logs of any log home manufacturer) all logs, inside and out as shown are included. Large beams or large posts are handcrafted character logs. We include beautiful assembled railing for the balcony, stairs and deck.

* Alpine or JeldWen LowE glass insulated windows with screens, depending on your location for local warranty.

* Therma Tru or Alpine insulated Sliding, French and Kitchen doors in full lite or half lite, with LowE glass, pre hung in frames.

* Insulated urethane foam sealant, two rows between each row of logs. This totally eliminates unsightly chinking.

* Zinc coated heavy lag bolts for the logs, with flat washers and locks along with log screws for tight areas and starter logs. This makes our walls the strongest log wall on the market.

* Starting at the concrete- sill seal, treated lumber, log or laminated beams, floor joists per plan, beautiful finished 2x6” hand selected premium final flooring in T&G, all 16’ long.

* 2x6” interior bearing walls and all interior bearing beams in log or lams, your choice.

* Deck log posts, deck outer double joists, joists for the deck, metal joist hangers, final deck lumber, all 16’ long and beautiful.

* Porch rafters in natural rough cut lumber, with 1x6x16’ T&G pine for top, Main roof has engineered I Joist in LPI /TJI or BCI, with typically an 11 7/8” height, mid series for strength. This allows full R-40 when done in ceiling. Ridge log is big, with a hidden laminated LVL beam above in the rafter area for triple the ridge strength for heavy snow loads. Standard.

* Roof sheathing in 5/8” OSB or Ply. 1x6” T&G soffit is included, as is a custom 1x14” pine fascia and 1x4 pine shadow board, both rough cut.

* Window and door trim in 1x4 and 1x6” as well as band board trim. We also include colored metal flashing for the floor to log joint. We include all blocking needed.

The only thing that is not standard, and needed to finish the whole structure, (while sometimes we include if requested) is: interior trim boards & interior partition walls!! (interior bearing walls included)

On a typical 2000’ home this adds just over a thousand bucks. Most of the 2x4s used for studs are of such poor quality (anywhere) that they are better purchased locally, with the bad ones returned locally. If we include them in the package, they will all be 16’(the quality is then much higher). Leave them for plate, cut in half for studs. Trim would be typically 1x4 and 1x6, and could be routered to taste or planed if needed, depending on final finish desired. Leave natural for rustic. We can include this if desired. Remember, every bid is custom to your plan and the home you have modified or left as is.
