Log Cabin Kits

We supply machine milled logs for that perfect fit, the main advantage being the true walls and even settling. With hand peeled logs, you have a taper, and have to stack logs with the larger ends alternating. With hand peeled logs, the logs are prone to uneven shrikage and settling. Some areas of the log work can have nightmarish results. This is why 87% of all log homes are a milled log. We have 7”, 8”, 9”, 10” and 12” Swedish Coped and Saddle Notched corners. Only the best, but at the lowest possible cost.

If you are a do-it-yourselfer, the dried and milled kits are the easiest and fastest to build with. The interior is also much easier and less expensive as there is less custom work to do. One of our plants kiln dries the machined logs in 18 different log products, from d shape, round, square, beveled (clapboard), chinked etc. at 17% moisture, perfect for most areas. Hand peeled log homes typically shrink 4” vertically on an 8’ wall, while our dry-standing spruce and pine logs shrink only 1 to 1 1/2” on an 8’ wall! Lots less to worry about, and 2 people can easily stack these up like lincoln logs in a couple of days!

We have several kits to offer, take a look, and if there is something you have that you want quoted on with our logs, let us shoot you a bid. email us by clicking on the contact link on top to give us an idea of the square footage you are requesting. Thanks!
